今回は、私の主宰する講座「数学を愉しむ会」で出題したパズルで、上の方はアメリカで出題されたものを少し改造したもの、下の方は上をもじって私が考えたものです。
「次の二つの等式のどこかに たは / のどちらかを付け加えて、それぞれの等式が成立するようにして下さい。

              1001:100(ヒント:大きさのバランスが悪いのは大目に見て下い。)

 ダジャレ文を考えていると、どうしても下品な、時には卑猥なものに行き着いてしまうことがあります。(その方が却って記憶に残るという皮肉な現象はある。)殊に、今回の,imp~は単語が多い割にうまい語呂がなく、やむを得ず「陰部」に結びつけざるを得ず、掲載すべきかどうか、いつも悩みます。
 読者の皆さまには、難解語記憶の為と割り切って頂き、ご容赦頂きますよう、改めてお願い申し上げる次第です。
 ところで、ブログやツイッターのような、相手の見えない交信では、恥を知らずに済むところがあり、普通では忌避する言葉でも意外に平気で使ってしまう危険性がありますね。社会的地位の高い人が、ひどい言葉を使って指弾される場面が最近報道されるのも分かる気がします。(言葉遣いだけでもないようですが---それにしても自殺まですることはなかったでしょうに)ことほど左様にネット文章には、その方の人間性・地が出やすいとは言えますね。もともと品行方正であれば何も恐れることは無いわけですが---。
 このブログも注意して書いていきますが、失礼な場合もあるやに思います。その時は、難解語記憶の為と割り切って頂きますよう重ねてお願い申し上げます。

 私事ですが、英会話講座が終了した後、今度はTOEICのスコアアップ講座に参加し、奮戦しています。初老の身にはかなりの難儀です。英語力はもとより短期記憶力・頭脳の回転の速さを求められ、ダジャレの出る幕は悔しいがありませんね。(最後のリーディングの方で、もしかしたら役立つときもあるか。いや、時間に迫られ想起してる暇はありませんね。)
 とにかく、如何にリスニング力が無いか思い知らされました。まー、乗りかかった船、やるだけやってみますので、こうご期待!皆さまもどうぞ頑張って下さい。習い事は若ければ若いほどベターです。

 今回は私の活動の宣伝をさせて頂きます。
7月9日より、第二・四火曜日の16:00~17:30、「算数・数学を愉しむ会」(いわば数学版ダジャレ)という名の講座を、港区オーク南麻布ビルB1(最寄駅南北線白金高輪・日比谷線広尾・都バス渋谷~新橋四の橋バス停)で主宰します。数学などすっかり忘れているといった方々が楽しめるよう、易しく面白い話ですすめます。どなたでも参加できるサロンですので、学生(小中高生)気分に戻って一緒に和気あいあいと学校数学で遊びませう。(会費:全6回で3.000円---見学自由!
 詳しい情報は03-5475-1305で講座名を言って尋ねて下さい。海外在住の方には、講座の中で好評だった事項をこのブログで紹介させて頂くことも考えています。
