上文は最近のニュース記事の一英文です。これは非英語国人には理解しがたい英文ですね。
最初これを見た一瞬、I my me,he his him（Ｈｅ ｉｓ ｈｉｍ.）を思い浮かべ、何だこりゃと感じました。それはともかく、こういう短文がピンと来るには、現地（英語国）に2,30年は暮らしている必要があるのでしょう。英語にはどうも二種類あるように思えてなりません。一つは、読み書き言葉としての言語、もう一つは生活用語としての英語、我々日本人が非英語国で学べるのはやはり前者までで、生活用語としての英語を習得するのは悔しいですが不可能に思えます。（したがって洋画を字幕なしで分かるのはちょっと無理）皆様はいかにそれを克服されてるでしょうか。どうぞご教唆下さい。
