10/26~11/1の訪問者数

 10月号－－－ブログの表示が変わり、前日の国別訪問者数が不明になりがっかりです。

今まで、どこの国から見に来てくれるかが毎日の楽しみでしたが、先月からブログのシステムが変わり、その情報がなくなりました。過去一週間のデータはあるようですが、やはり前日でないとインパクトがありません。ま、このところ国内より海外からの訪問者が多くなっているのは知っていて、今後もそうであろうとは期待しています。毎回吐露してますように、私（ブロガー）は日本在住の、英語に関しては全くの素人です。各国で使われる英語、その一つ一つの意味もきっと同じではないことと思われます。（実際、最近知り合った、スイスとフランス出身の方の英語は同じでなく殊に発音はそれぞれであるような気がしました。ただ、このブログで取り扱う英語は話し言葉でなく、新聞・雑誌の読み物英語なので話はちょっとずれますが。）訪問者の皆様方におかれましては、どうかその辺の情報・事情をコメントしていただけましたら大変ありがたく思います。

9月号－－－「実践英語」と「学習英語」との差違

実践英語と学習レベルの英語との大きな違い
このブログの英語、または英語の扱い方は、実際に社会のなかで使われている英語の話ではなく、英語に不慣れ（ただの趣味人がやっている学生英語のようなもの）なブロガーが見よう見まねで発している英語にまつわる話なので、英語を仕事として実際に使われておられる方から見たらばかばかしかったり、腹立たしかったりすることもおありかと察します。今回出会った難解語（と一瞬錯角した）にはまいりました。新聞記事で不明な、見たこともないような英単語に出会うと何とか語呂合わせをして覚えてみようとするわけですが、
下記1）の　emoji　には驚きました。見たこともない何か難しそうな単語だと思って、私の持っている2007年発行の辞書を引いたところ、これには収載されておらず、weblio、Merriam-Websterの両辞書で見て、なんだ「絵文字」のことで日本語由来の英単語だったことに気づかされ、自分のバカさに呆れたわけです。（sns・ネット関係に詳しい方ならすぐお分かりになる事象なのでしょうね。ことほど左様に英語・語学に関しては、実践と学習レベルのものとは全く異なるもののようですね。）英単語も新しい造語や外来語がどんどん作られ、新聞雑誌には当たり前のように使われたりしているわけで、日本で、それも英語の素人がそれに追随して行こうとするのはやはり無理な気がいたしました。


1）エモジは絵文字だ！(難易度不明）emoji(n)－－－全ての英単語がこうであったなら、人類（日本人だけか）の費やすエネルギーは半減（一割減か）していただろうに。中高生がその分の時間を、数学・物理・哲学に振り向けていたならば、あー文化は、文明は、もっともっと－－－。エスペラント語がいまだに存続し使われているのが納得です。（9/23記）

手話が世界共通で、共通語として機能すればいいのにと思うのは誰しもでしょう。実態はそれぞれの言語に合わせた手話なのでやはりそれはかなわぬ夢のようです。日本国内の手話も二種類があるようで、不合理極まりありませんね。（9/23記）

上記の例文は、昨今コロナの影響で流行りだしたzoomにまつわる話のようです。とにかく‵emoji’にはまいりました。

2）何事にも素早くブリッと付(ス）け入るのが、現代の企業の望まれる戦略だ。これでこそ、急成長と勝利を勝ち得る。（難易度不明）blitzscaling(n)－－－ダジャレ文の意味も不明、この単語も1）と同様、新語・造語のようですが、そもそも学生や一般人にとっては習得不要語か。
例文：Terms like " permissionless innovation" and "blitzscaling" entered the tech lexicon.

3）脱出法のアイデアあんなにあったが、自由の身になったら、案減ったど。㉘unfettered(a)---ダジャレ文意味不明につき失礼いたします。
例文：Speech on the web: Unfettered no more  －－－新聞の見出し文（The New York Times July 4-5,2020)

4）我々グループは皆大人の集まりだ、そんな非礼な輩は会に入れべれんす。（入れないでおこう）。㉔irreverence(a)
例文：A tech monoculture that once celebrated its recklessness and irreverence is being pushed aside by a younger and more politically conscious generation of tech workers who actually want their companies' products to reflect their values.  

5）エビを食べると体内に抗原が出来るぞ、さー、沢山エビ採っぺ（発音は‵トウプ’、意味は‵採ろう’）。⑱epitope(n)---抗原とは免疫機能を持つ抗体を作り出す物質のようで、antigenと言われるものの表面物質らしいですが、詳しくは免疫学を調べられたし。epitoｍeと要区別、epiのつく語は皆難解、epithet憶えておられますか。語呂合わせは皆「エビ」になってしまいます。（そもそもパピプペポのつく日本語は、「本」「変」「杯」「吻」などがリエゾンになる場合以外には一切無く、最もダジャレ難い発音です。）

6）ウィルスはコロコロ変異するんだから、特効薬創っても無駄(みゅーてー）しょん。（意味‵無駄でしょう’）⑨mutation(n)－－－ダジャレ文は正当性はありません。
尚、この場合、音声による記憶よりアルファベットのローマ字読みの方が「無駄しょん―――無駄でしょう」と連想しやすいように思われます。無駄しょん→何が無駄→薬作るのが→なんで→コロコロ変わるから、と言うように連想できますよね？

7）今度のワクチンは、実際の効能はいぶかしい（エフィカスィー）。⑨efficacy(n)

8）指名されるや否や、そのシェフはエ（イン）プロンぷっと外して、即席に話し始めた。⑪impromptu(adv)
例文：Ideas bloom, the thinking goes when people start impromptu conversations at a whiteboard or in the cafeteria.

9）偏屈な排他主義者にピカ（ビガ）ッと光るものがあるはずがない⑭bigot(n)
例文：The internet giants' unwillingness to make rules (and then, later, their inability to enforce them) empowered a generation of bigots and media manipulators who are now among our most influential public figures.

日本語の標準語だけでは、ダジャレ(語呂合わせ）出来ず、2）のように、沖縄語でだじゃれました。

1）「えっ火にあぶるんですか？」「はい、いんです。ぷーっとあぶると文が浮き出てくるのは疑う余地もない。」⑬indisputable(a)－－－dispute からの連想で日本語の意味の掌握は十分可能か？
例文：The harm from the accident, which dwarfed the 1989 Exxon Valdez spill of 11 million gallons, was indisputable.（Recent  examples on the web  10June2020)


2）「怨恨取らばーチブル（頭）に来る」というのは疑う余地のない所業。⑰incontrovertible(a)－－－「チブル」は沖縄語で「頭」の意味だそうです。1）、2）は同意語、それにしても共に意味不明のダジャレ文、失礼致します。これも、こんな意味不明のダジャレを持ち出すまでもなく、controversyからの連想で十分か？
