5月号－－－医療用語が多いです。

 今号は、1）2）5)  7）10)を除きたまたま医療用語が多いです。また、偶然下品なものが多くなり、上品な方はパスされたし。

1）変装させないよう召喚時はスッピンなること(傍線部スッポンではない－－－戦争時などにはあった模様）が要求される。⑮subpoena(n,vt)－－－この語呂合わせは、数少ない（と言うよりたった一人の）このブログのよき理解者により発案された語呂で、スペルは読みにくいこと極まりありませんがこれならぴったりで、受信用のみならず、発信用にもなり得そうです。この数年での最高傑作と自負（他負）しています。

例文：ABC News has learned that the Manhattan DA’s officer subpoenaed the personal financial records of Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg.－－－Manhattan DAはニューヨークにある公的な法律事務所の模様 （ネット検索）。尚上の例文は、AFNニュース（音声のみ）の中のABCニュースの一文が専門家により書き起こされた英文です。

2）墓から掘り出してみたら、死体が幾じゅーも(ム）有った。㉕exhume(vt)－－－掲載をためらった悲惨な出来事でしたがあえてアップさせていただきました。

例文：The body of Kyal Sin, or "angel," was later exhumed and autopsied by police, who declared she was not shot by security forces.

3）鼻汁みたいな粘液見るとムカムカする。⑬mucus(n)

例文：The fact that the virus has been found in the mucus membrane that covers the eye in a small number of patients, however, does suggest that the eye could be an entryway for the virus.

 

4）あなたの 心電図を見ると不整脈有りす、見や、ね？あるでしょ。⑮arrhythmia(n)

例文：One review found that about 40 percent suffered arrhythmias and 20 percent had some form of cardiac injury.

5）副とか次席とか代理とかいう役職の人って大抵デブってますね。⑤deputy(n,a)

例文：For covid-19 patients, cytokine storms are a major reason that some require intensive care and ventilation, said deputy director of the medical center. 

6）胃腸の調子が悪いと'ガスとろいんです′となる。（ちゃんとおならが出ないこと）　　　⑫gastrointestinal(a)

例文：The gastrointestinal tract for instance, contains 100 times more of these receptors than other parts of the body, and its surface area is enormous.

7）ダジャレを書く方（ホウ）に集中してると、テレビのコマーシャルの耳障りな音も気にならなくなる。（ウソ）⑰cacophony(n)－－－それにしても今のTVコマーシャルの気が狂ったような音には唖然とさせられます。あれで良く逆効果にならないのか不思議です。現代の若者と高齢者は感覚が完全に違った生き物としか思えません。「新人類」現象は世の常なんですね。

例文：Far beneath the ocean surface, a cacophony of industrial noise is disrupting marine animals' ability to mate, feed and even evade predators, scientists warn.

8）この匂いどこからだ？あの隅や！感染したオレ無嗅覚だから分からん。（難易度不明）anosmia(n)---ーnia、ー miaは身体の症状を示す語に多し。何か語源がありそうですね。

例文：About a quarter of  participants experienced anosmia before developing other symptoms, suggesting it can be an early warning sign of infection.

9）車ばかり乗って歩かずにいると心臓を悪くする。心臓は、カーで悪！⑩cardiac(a)

例文：One review of severely ill patients in China found that about 40 % suffered arrhythmias and 20% had some form of cardiac injury.

10）出（て）来いと、高級料理でおびき寄せれば、はいはい出て来るナントカかな。⑪decoy(vt,n)

例文：新聞記事紛失したので今回は無しとさせていただきます。（辞書の例文には、あまり愉快な文章はない。鳥をおびき寄せる、鳥の形の木彫で知られてはいるか。）
